A step-by-step guide to ParQ

Qualogy stands by the municipality at every step of the implementation of ParQ, our innovative PVS (parking permit system). We work in line with the schedules and processes of the municipality and ensure a seamless transition. The implementation follows four clear phases, spread over a period of two to four months:

1. PREPARATION:

In this phase we jointly draw up an implementation plan that meets the unique needs and wishes of the municipality.

2. SETUP AND TESTING:

We migrate the data from the old system to ParQ (if necessary), configure the application and perform tests. We also provide training for the municipal employees who will manage the system. Plus the employees of the KCC (Customer Contact Center).

3. SETTING UP PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT:

In this phase we connect external systems such as DigiD, eHerkenning and iDeal with ParQ. We run a final series of tests to ensure everything runs smoothly.

4. GO LIVE:

We migrate the data from the old system to ParQ (if necessary), set up the application and perform tests.

After go-live

Even after go-live, Qualogy will continuously serve the municipality. Our service desk is available 24/7 for reporting questions and wishes. Thanks to the short lines between the municipality and Qualogy, we can switch and respond quickly. We are not just a supplier but even more a collaboration partner. Through regular discussion of new functionalities within ParQ, customer days with other municipalities and discussing the roadmap, we keep the municipality closely involved.

Clear Cost Structure

ParQ has a simple cost structure that distinguishes between one-off costs for implementation, training, guidance and possible conversion of old data on the one hand and an amount per active permit per year for the use of the platform including further development on the other. One-off costs vary from 10 to 15 K euros for smaller municipalities to 20 to 30 K euros for larger municipalities. For small municipalities, we apply an annual amount of 8 euros per permit per year with an entry amount of 16K for 2000 permits. This allows many municipalities to remain well below the tender limit. For larger municipalities, the price per active permit based on volume can turn out significantly lower.
